On December 2006, MUTUAL AID AMERICAS of New York donated an important quantity of fire equipment which would alleviate current needs at many Volunteer Fire Companies in Zone 1 - Panama.

 

The donation was initiated to Mutual Aid Americas by Major Jimmy McCormack, liaison officer in NY for the Panama FD and received by Second-Lieutenant Luis C. Endara III, FDHQ and Chief Liaison Officer in-charge of the Taboga Fire Brigade.

 

This donation consisted of almost 100 Bunker suits and pants, boots, complete Airpacks and evacuation stretchers which were shipped to Panama free of charge by courtesy of Mrs. Gloria Karamaņities owner of US PANAMA EXPRESS in Brooklyn, NY.

 

Our Brigade received a complete set of Bunker, boots, 2 stretchers and also 3 UHF communication radios donated by Mr. Manuel Alvarez of BEAM RADIO in Miami, FL
